The shape of the chair is okay. Putting it together went smoothly.However I won't be using it. I've owned it for all of 6 hours now and I'm already looking for a replacement and have gone back to using my old chair. The problem for me is the mesh material. I work from home so I spend a good deal of time in my office chair and already just 6 hours into owning it the mesh parts of the chair are intolerable. My arms just seem drawn to the mesh on the arms rests and its like sandpaper grating against my skin. I tend to work in shorts and put my foot up on the chair and again the mesh material not working for that either. Overall its a descent chair but the mesh is just ruining it for me. Read more  beginner mistake, This review is from: Z-Line Executive Chair with Mesh Fabric (Electronics) i bought this chair after trying literally 50 different office chairs. at the time i was poor and needed to make a good decision on this purchase to make it last. im not sure why i didnt think about the critical aspects of an office chair but i basically went after comfort and ergonomics that fit my body. after having this chair for a little over a year its shock absorber leaks and i have to constantly have to stand up and hit the raise lever. The arms are horrible as there is very very little padding, and they are fastened by long screws which are anchored into the seat and back thats made of plywood and is not secure. so any lateral force weakens the anchor holes. The seat is pretty rough and the padding is not adequate as its only thick on the sides. |
